Disguise Your iPad/iPhone as a Book

My sister recently got her phone stolen at college. This is the third time it has happened and like most institutions, her college shirks the responsibility of finding the thief and instead reprimands her for bringing "futuristic technology" to the classroom -.-"

Anyhow as annoyed as I was with the institution's uselessness, I decided to look around and see what clever solutions there existed to protect her phone. When I saw this, a huge ass lightbulb went off in my head!
Disguising your iPad as an old fashioned book may strike you as a bit ironic, but when you think about it, it makes perfect sense. BOOK by Nedrelow is a handmade cover that makes an iPad/iPhone look pretty much exactly like a book. The cover will not only thwart would-be thieves, but will also protect your valuable book-a-like in the case of accidental droppage.

Can you spot the ipad???

It’s plain to see that BOOK is lovely to look at too. The minimalistic hard cover is made by hand, and inside a tailor-fitted sleeve snuggles your iPad/iPhone safely. When encased in a BOOK, you can feel less paranoid about taking your iPad out at a coffee shop too.
The materials that make up each BOOK are also sustainable from the linen book cloth to the 100% wool felt sleeve. The natural German felt is a renewable material that has an innate durability and timeless elegance.

To make matters even cooler, bibliophiles can even have custom titles inscribed onto the spines of their BOOKs. So your BOOK can say anything from your name to the popular “This is Not a Book” to the name of an actual book like Wuthering Heights or Moby Dick. Just make sure you don’t end up filing your iPad/iPhone on a shelf full of books and forget which one it is!

Jessi Arrington: Wearing Nothing new

Designer Jessi Arrington packed nothing for TED but 7 pairs of undies, buying the rest of her clothes in thrift stores around LA. It’s a meditation on conscious consumption — wrapped in a rainbow of color and creativity.

What a bubbly, happy personalisty she is....and the best part, she is giving back...every single day! Love it!

TEDxAtlanta - Armin Vit - Think Stupid

“One is considered stupid until proven creative.” Armin Vit presents the case for stupidity. Instead of avoiding the stupid, we should embrace it, chase it and execute stupid ideas as often as possible.

what a brilliant way of looking at things! Here's to being stupid!!

Awesome Technology: Hidden

Imagine an app that let’s you spy on the person that might have stolen your laptop. It’s called Hidden. If your computer is stolen, Hidden will show you where it is and who has it. When you activate tracking, Hidden will locate your stolen computer anywhere on the planet, collect photos of the thief and screen shots of the computer in use.

One Hidden user started a Tumblr Blog with the images the app was able to collect. Slightly awkward to look at the person who is using your computer.
